Our Pricing Approach
Different customs brokers use different approaches to pricing their services. Some charge extra for additional sheets, while others split their services into many small components to conceal the final cost.
Surprisingly, despite the introduction of new regulations and changes in customs legislation, we still encounter large pricing tables in clients’ tender documentation, where it is necessary to indicate prices for micro-tasks that are already included in the full customs clearance service.
Back in 2012, we realized that breaking services down into micro-tasks was inconvenient both for us and for our clients. To make cooperation comfortable and avoid confusion in calculations, we introduced a tariff system based on the number of item positions in the invoice.
In other words, if the invoice is grouped and contains no more than 20 item positions, the service fee is fixed at 35,000 KZT including VAT. At the same time, the number of additional sheets is unlimited. With this approach, we can quote an exact price based on just one document — the invoice.
Key Benefits for Clients
- Predictable costs. You can forecast your customs clearance expenses in advance. When pricing is based on additional sheets, a declaration must first be prepared to calculate the final cost.
- Full transparency. No hidden fees. Clients clearly understand how the price is formed, eliminating questions such as: “Why was it cheaper last time?”, “Where did this amount come from?, “How did you calculate it? Send me the Excel file, I want to double-check.”
- Lower brokerage fees. Preparing and submitting a declaration usually costs about the same, but when additional sheets are charged separately, the total fee can increase several times over.
We can demonstrate the cost difference using any of your shipments. To do so, simply contact us and provide a completed customs declaration. In 50% of cases, we find opportunities to reduce service costs without compromising quality.
